TWO FILMS ABOUT LONELINESS has screened at over 45 international film and animation festivals, has been nominated for 6 international prizes including Grand Prize at the American Film Institute and Sundance Film Festival in the United States, Short Grand Prize in the Warsaw International Film Festival, and Best British Animation at Edinburgh Film Festival. It has won prizes at Oberhausen International Short Film Festival and the touring festival Future Shorts.

Synopsis:

A split-screen separates the worlds of Jonathan Smallman, who is recording his online dating-profile, while next door, Phillip Button, the internet chef, is noisily recording his new cooking video. Both characters have turned to technology in their search for companionship and acceptance and it’s not entirely working. Until something unexpected happens…

A bilingual film, featuring the voices of British Actor and Comedian Tim Key ( Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa, BBC TV and Radio Series ‘Cowards’) and German Voice Actor Detlef Bierstedt, the German voice of George Clooney (from The Thin Red Line- Der Schmale Grat / One Day – Zwei An Einem Tag).
