Will Bishop-Stephens is an award winning animation director and writer. A graduate of the RCA with an undergraduate degree from Winchester School of Art, he is a sophisticated craftsman – a multi-discpinary artist, integrating fine art, digital media and engineering practices which build on his background in sculpture, collaborative practice and publishing. Comedy and absurdity are core to his work and he has worked collaboratively with musicians and comedians for the past 20 years. Clients include the BBC and NHS. He shares his creative ethos leading a BA Animation course at University of East London, as a visiting lecturer at University for Creative Arts and the Royal College of Art where he is inspiring a new generation of creatives and filmmakers including BAFTA Award winners. He has been invited to be a consultant at Blink Studios, a judge at the London International Animation Festival amongst others and external examiner roles at the University of Bedfordshire and at the University of Falmouth. His latest bi lingual co-directed film was selected for Sundance and is still being screened internationally. He is currently working on an exhibition of animation and sculpture and a new film, due for release in 2019.
